Vintage Mother-of-Pearl Cocktail & Cheese Knives, Set of 7

A fabulous set of seven vintage mother-of-pearl handled knives made for entertaining, including six matching knives and one cheese knife.

Made by William Adams of Sheffield, England, the knives feature genuine mother-of-pearl handles, ornate sterling silver collars and stainless steel blades. The natural pearl has beautiful variation and iridescence from piece to piece.

Perfect for entertaining or an ideal host/hostess gift with a box of curated cheeses from Murray's Cheese or similar. Scatter the knives across a giant cheese or charcuterie board at a cocktail party, put them out with cream cheese, butter and spreads for a bagel and lox brunch, or use all six at the table for a French-style cheese course after dinner. The coordinating cheese knife makes the seventh piece particularly useful for serving.

The blades are marked "William Adams Sheffield Stainless" and the collars are marked "Sterling."

In very good vintage condition with surface wear and patina consistent with age and use. The mother-of-pearl handles remain beautifully intact.
