Vintage Solid Brass Rope & Tassel Bud Vase, c. 1960's–70's

Wonderfully sculptural vintage solid brass bud vase, made in India, circa 1960's-1970's. The elegant flared form features a distinctive twisted rope collar and two dangling ball tassels, a decorative detail giving this petite vase wonderful character.

At just six inches tall, it tucks easily into a bookshelf, bar, mantel, or tabletop vignette. Beautiful with a single flower or small clipping, and equally appealing displayed empty among other collected brass objects.

The brass has been gently polished while retaining the warm patina, subtle spotting, and surface variation that give vintage brass its distinctive appeal. Original "Made in India" label remains on the underside.
