A handsome oversized vintage silverplate vessel with the classic proportions of a traditional julep cup. The tall, gently tapered form is finished with delicate beaded detailing along the rim and raised pedestal foot, adding just enough ornament to its otherwise clean silhouette.
Generously scaled and wonderfully versatile, use it as a vase filled with flowers or greenery, as a handsome vessel on a bar, or simply displayed among a collection of vintage silver. Its timeless shape mixes easily with both traditional and more contemporary pieces.
Unmarked; remnants on the underside indicate that the piece originally retained one or more paper labels.
Date: Vintage, 20th century
Material: Silverplate
Dimensions: Approximately 7.5" tall x 4.5" wide
Condition: Good vintage condition with surface wear, light scratching and patina consistent with age and use. One small dent is present and has been photographed for reference. Overall, the silverplate remains bright and the piece presents beautifully. Please see photos for details.
