An elegant vintage silverplate candle snuffer with a long, slender handle and beautifully detailed floral and scrolling decoration across the bell.
A lovely piece to leave out alongside a pair of candlesticks or on a mantel, and infinitely nicer than blowing out the candles at the end of dinner. The long handle makes it especially useful for tapers and deeper candleholders while the ornate silverplate bell gives it the feel of a small decorative object in its own right.
Late 20th century. Very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use.
