Vintage Mid-Century Italian Gilded Ceramic Trinket Dish (c. 1960)

Charming and perfectly petite, this vintage mid-century ceramic dish is a masterclass in Italian artisan craftsmanship. Crafted in Italy during the post-war pottery boom of the 1950's to 1960's, this small dish features a glossy white glaze and a classic ribbed, pleated border. The scalloped rim is elegantly finished with a hand-applied, brilliant gold-gilt trim.

The underside bears the authentic, hand-painted underglaze blue export crown mark and "Italy" script, indicating it was produced by a regional artisan cooperative.
