A wonderfully versatile vintage serving piece by F.B. Rogers, dating to approximately the 1960's-1970's. The substantial round silverplate tray features an intricately engraved center, elegant pierced gallery and classic rope-edge border, paired with its beautifully fitted removable glass insert.

The heavy clear glass insert is divided into multiple serving sections surrounding a central well and finished with dramatic radiating cut decoration. Perfect for cocktail-hour snacks, crudités, olives, nuts, candies, garnishes or other small bites, it transforms the tray into an especially handsome entertaining piece.

Remove the glass insert and the beautifully detailed silverplate base can also be used independently as a traditional serving tray or cocktail tray. Use the glass insert for food service or garnishes, and its an easy clean while the silver remains untouched.

The tray is marked F.B. Rogers on the underside.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with only light age-appropriate surface wear and fine scratching consistent with use. The silverplate has been freshly polished and presents beautifully. Glass insert is clear and bright with no chips or cracks noted. Please see photos for details.
