Vintage Italian Crystal & Silverplate Serving Bowl with Utensils

A beautiful vintage Italian crystal and silverplate serving set, combining a substantial cut crystal bowl with a polished silverplate rim and a coordinating pair of silverplate serving utensils.

The crystal bowl features a deeply cut geometric pattern and radiating starburst base that catches the light beautifully. At approximately 9.5 inches across, its versatile scale makes it equally lovely in use or simply left out as a decorative piece.

Originally designed as a salad serving set, the three pieces are wonderfully adaptable for modern entertaining. Fill the crystal bowl with lemons or seasonal fruit for a sparkling centerpiece while the gleaming Italian silverplate servers move to a generous bowl of pasta, roasted vegetables or salad. Use the bowl for berries at brunch, a colorful chopped salad or layered dessert, or bring all three pieces together whenever the occasion calls for it. The serving spoon and fork are each marked "Silver Plate / Made in Italy."
