A charming pair of antique sterling silver individual berry forks by Whiting Manufacturing Company in the ornate Louis XV pattern, introduced in 1891.
Measuring approximately 4½ inches long, each petite fork features two slender tines and Whiting's richly detailed Louis XV handle. Originally designed for individual servings of berries and strawberries, they're equally lovely today for seafood, hors d'oeuvres, cocktail garnishes, or other small bites.
Marked sterling on the reverse with Whiting's maker's mark and "PAT. 1899."
In very good antique condition with surface wear consistent with age and use. One fork has a slightly bent tine, as photographed, but remains fully usable.
