A three-piece vintage American silverplate serving set by National Silver Co. in the ornate Queen Elizabeth pattern, first introduced in 1908.

The set includes two large serving spoons and one serving fork, creating an especially useful trio for entertaining. Use them for salads, vegetables, potatoes, side dishes, casseroles and buffet service—or mix them freely with existing silver or stainless flatware rather than saving them for a matching service.

Queen Elizabeth is a richly ornamented traditional pattern with scrolling botanical and classical detailing along the handles. The decorative pattern gives these substantial serving pieces beautiful presence on a table or buffet while still making them practical enough to use regularly.

The pieces are marked "National / DOUBLE TESTED / Silverplate."

National Silver Co. was an American manufacturer of silverplated flatware and tableware during the 20th century. Its Queen Elizabeth silverplate pattern was introduced in 1908 and remained in production for decades before being discontinued. These pieces are believed to date to approximately the 1930s–1940s based on their markings. The 1908 date refers to the introduction of the Queen Elizabeth pattern rather than the manufacture of these individual pieces.

A wonderfully useful little collection of vintage serving silver—matching enough to feel intentional, but easy to incorporate into almost any table setting.
