Vintage Eton Sheffield Oversized Silver Butler's Tray
An extraordinary oversized serving tray by Eton Sheffield, with the scale, weight and presence of a truly grand entertaining piece.
Measuring approximately 26 inches across and weighing roughly nine pounds, this is an exceptionally substantial piece of silver-on-copper serving ware. The generously proportioned oval form is finished with beautifully cast handles, raised feet and elaborate engraved decoration across the surface.
Its impressive scale makes it wonderful for a home bar, cocktails for a crowd, a large collection of glassware or an abundant spread of hors d'oeuvres. When not in use, it has enough presence to stand on its own as a decorative object on a console, bar or dining-room sideboard.
