Late Mid-Century Ornate Silverplate Serving Stand
A charming late mid-century silverplate serving stand combining an ornate, old-world silhouette with a wonderfully useful petite scale. The shallow round tray features a scalloped rim and embossed scrollwork, raised on three ball feet and finished with an elaborate openwork carrying handle.
At just eight inches across, it's an easy addition to a cocktail table, bar, or buffet without taking up much space. Fill it with chocolates, petits fours, nuts, olives, cocktail garnishes, or other small bites, or use it styled as a decorative catchall.
The mix of polished silverplate and elaborate detailing gives it plenty of presence despite its petite proportions.
Unmarked. Approx. 8" diameter × 6.5" H. Silverplate. Late mid-century. Very good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. Silverplate remains bright and the embossed decoration is crisp.
