A wonderfully useful English entertaining set comprising six matching knives and a three-tine serving fork, all with beautifully luminous natural mother-of-pearl handles.

The knives feature stainless steel blades with a gently curved profile and finely serrated edge, while the serving fork is silverplate. Together, the seven pieces create an especially versatile addition to the modern table.

Put them straight to work for entertaining. Scatter the knives around a generous cheese or charcuterie board, use them with butter, preserves and spreads at brunch, or mix them into a collected table setting. The serving fork is perfect for sliced meats, cheeses, fruit and other small bites.

The knives are marked "Lodge Stainless Steel Sheffield England." The serving fork is marked "EPNS Made in England."

Mid-20th century. In very good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. The mother-of-pearl handles are beautifully intact and retain wonderful natural variation and iridescence.

Set of seven: six knives and one serving fork.
