The handles have polished beautifully and retain their elegant, understated finish, while the blades are stamped CHRISTOFLE A PARIS. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe original non-stainless steel blades retain the dark grey patina and spotting characteristic of antique carbon steel, a material prized for its ability to take and hold an excellent edge long before stainless steel became standard.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTraditionally intended for dessert service, their petite 7.5-inch scale translates beautifully to modern entertaining.
